Reduced to living with her prissy Aunt Queenie and Uncle Bert, Delrita fears that her aunt sees her only as a burden. Things take a turn for the worse when Aunt Queenie's cranky war-veteran father moves in, and then her heartthrob, Tree Shackleford, is tempted by a new girl in town.
